Sustainability. Action.
No smoke. No emissions.No biohazards.
At Azooka Labs, sustainability is at the heart of our innovation. We protect the environment by designing eco-friendly molecular biology solutions.
01 Our commitment
Food-grade safe dyes and non-toxic extraction kits eliminate hazardous chemicals, reduce biohazard waste and ensure safer disposal. Local manufacturing and sustainable materials minimise our footprint.
- 01
Food-grade dyes instead of hazardous stains
tinto rang and our Eco-Fluors are food-grade safe alternatives to dyes such as SYBR and EtBr. Unlike those dyes, tinto rang doesn't inhibit PCR, even at high concentrations.
- 02
Extraction without phenol-chloroform
AZUL kits use silica spin-column technology instead of toxic phenol-chloroform. FFPE protocols use a xylene-free deparaffinisation method.
- 03
Shipping without dry ice
mWRAPR and RNA WRAPR media keep samples intact at ambient temperature. That takes heavy dry ice and a continuous cold chain out of the journey.
- 04
Made locally in India
We manufacture in India with sustainable materials, which minimises our carbon footprint while keeping genomics products high-quality and affordable.
02 The cold-chain problem
Keep your cool.Lose the ice.
Dry ice can weigh 5–8 times the original sample volume. Ambient transport removes it, along with up to 70–80% of shipping costs.

Green chemistry partners
For companieswith ESG goals.
We make genomics consumables with zero smoke, zero effluents and zero biohazards. If your organisation follows green chemistry principles, our sustainable chemicals fit your values and your science.
Not every laboratory chemical can be hazard-free. Always handle reagents according to their MSDS and dispose of them in line with local regulations.
